Happy May Day!

I just love May Day! When I was little, my mom would have us pick flowers from our back yard and bundle them up in sweet packaging with bows and ribbons. She would drive us to my grandparents house and we would park down the block so they wouldn't see us coming.

We'd sneak up to the porch, leave the flowers, ring the doorbell and RUN! It was so fun peeking around the corner and seeing my grandma come to the door, with a huge, warm smile. We'd jump out from the side of the house and yell, Happy May Day! It felt so magical.

So, Happy May Day and Happy Spring to you!

It's been an amazing spring for me. My first book launched and so many people have reached out letting me know it's helped them relax and find some zen. All you need is a pen and you can trace and draw over my watercolor paintings to create a little bit of your own magic.

I've been spending a lot of time painting recently which has been so incredibly fun and fulfilling.  I signed up for a few courses to help me create lots and lots more portfolio pieces that hopefully open up new and fun freelance opportunities.
